trucking services cavite 1968 Ford F250 in 4K

This Ford F250 ¾ ton with 2 wheel drive is what was called a Contractors Special. It rolled off the assembly line in San Jose, California in February 1968. It is supported by Fords special Twin I Beam which provided a softer, quieter ride with better handling and less maintenance, while delivering the comfort of a passenger car. This paired with the premier of the Flex-O-Matic Rear Suspension made Ford the best riding pick-up, loaded or unloaded, on the market. This special package was only offered in the 5th generation of Ford F-Series which spanned from 1967 to 1972 and was made in relatively low numbers, making them increasingly rare. The 5th generation of Fords F-Series brought roomier trucks with more visibility, and a more "plush" interior. The body line became more squared and flat side panels were accented with narrow indentations. The 5th generation bodies were noted for durability and simplicity of design making them a favorite for restoration. This truck has not been restored. The Iowa 80 Trucking Museum purchased this Ford F250 from Annie Barker of Hurricane, Utah on May 8th, 2008.
