Detectives with the Sarasota Police Department are attempting to identify three armed robbery suspects who showed a firearm and demanded cash at Dollar General, 2628 17th Street, Sarasota, at approximately 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2017.
The three men walked into the Dollar General, confronted one store employee and then took her at gunpoint to the office where the second employee was working. The three men then demanded cash from both employees. The employees gave the three masked men an undisclosed amount of cash and they fled the store. The employees were not injured.
