Khu mỏ này nằm ở vùng lãnh thổ Tây Bắc của Canada bắt đầu hoạt động từ năm 2003, mỗi năm khai thác được 8 triệu carat (tương đương khoảng 1.600 kg) kim cương.
6. Mỏ kim cương Mirny - Siberia
Khu mỏ có độ sâu 525 mét và đường kính 1.200 mét này là một trong những nơi khai thác kim cương đầu tiên và lớn nhất của Liên Xô nay đã chấm dứt sứ mệnh. Khi còn hoạt động, phải mất hai tiếng những chiếc xe tải mới có thể đi từ đỉnh mỏ Mirny xuống đáy theo hình xoắn ốc.
