Sarasota Police Detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a shooting suspect who was caught on camera shooting at another person earlier this week.
On Tuesday, February 19, 2019, at approximately 1:20 p.m., Sarasota Police Officers responded to King’s Meat, 1800 block of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, Sarasota, in reference to a shooting. Witnesses told Officers that the suspect showed a firearm and shot several times towards the victim. The victim was not willing to cooperate with the investigation but Detectives are seeking assistance in identifying the shooter.
